Arash Asgari joined the Knight Campus in March 2024. With over a decade of pharmaceutical industry experience, including roles at Amgen focusing on formulation and stability, Asgari brings invaluable expertise to the Hosseinzadeh Lab's research endeavors, including the ability to blend academic knowledge with practical industry insights. His journey from electrician to construction company co-owner and scientist reflects his appreciation for diverse backgrounds and struggles, as well as fostering a culture of collective growth.
Asgari holds a B.S. in biochemistry and molecular biology from UC Davis. Outside the lab, he finds joy in house renovations, hiking, fishing and culinary adventures.
