Tim Wheeler joined the Knight Campus in July of 2022 as a postdoctoral scholar in the Mehanian Lab. Prior to completing his graduate studies, Wheeler worked in industry as an analytical chemist. In 2022, he received his Ph.D. in Biology from the University of Oregon. His doctoral studies focused on somatic stem cell behavior using a murine gut model. In the Mehanian lab his focus is in developing machine learning models for medical data to prognose ocular surgery outcomes.
