Post-Doctoral Scholar

Sudhanshu Shekhar is a post-doctoral scholar in Dr. Robert E. Guldberg’s and Dr. Keat Ghee Ong’s laboratories at the Knight Campus for Accelerating Scientific Impact. He received his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh. During his Ph.D., he focused on the development of inorganic nanoparticles for non-viral gene delivery and their use in scaffolds commonly employed for tissue engineering applications.

Currently, Sudhanshu is investigating the influence of local mechanical and immune environments on musculoskeletal regeneration. He is also involved in the development of magnetoelastic resonance sensors for a range of biomedical applications. Beyond laboratory research, he has gained experience in conducting due diligence for early-stage life sciences start-ups and creating value proposition for new medical devices.
