Professional Development Week offers an array of resources

The Knight Campus Graduate Internship Program is welcoming 80 master’s candidates for Professional Development Week, happening June 13-17 both in-person at the Knight Campus and virtually. With a focus on building community and cultivating strong professional relationships, the program introduces students to a breadth of topics before diving into their technical coursework. Workshops will cover a range of topics, such as leading through rapport, maintaining work-life balance and learning lessons in grit, perseverance & resiliency. The latter takes the form of a workshop given by Knight Campus Advisory Board Member Jeanne Beacham on June 16 and is open to Knight Campus PhD candidates and post-docs, marking the program’s first broader Knight Campus professional training opportunity. The week will be capped off with an opportunity to network with 40+ KCGIP master’s alumni who are making the trek to Eugene to meet the newest cohort.
