Matt Hutter is the Executive Director for Strategic Initiatives at the University of Oregon and serves as the Development Liaison for the Knight Campus. Matt joined the UO in 2012 as Director of Development for the Office of Research and Innovation and now leads the Strategic Initiatives Research and Innovation (SIRI) unit in the Office of Advancement – a comprehensive fundraising unit responsible for engaging with individuals, private foundations and corporate partners seeking to support UO’s research and innovation mission. Prior to UO, Matt was Director of Development at Claremont Graduate University. Matt received his BA in Philosophy from Cal State San Bernardino and his MA in Management from the Peter F. Drucker and Masatoshi Ito School of Management at Claremont Graduate University.
